29-07-2008 : A dharan organised by SNEA in front of Telephone Bhavan ,Vellore to protest against the merger of ITI with BSNL. The comrades who participated expressed their protest and their concern over the future of BSNL.
24-07-2008 and 25-07-2008 : An Exhibition organised at Tirvannamalai to carry BSNL's products to the public . It was a grand success.!! more than 600 landline connections were allotted .
12/07/2008 and 13/07/2008: An Exhibition organised at Town hall , Vellore to carry BSNL's products to the public . It was a successful venture.!! Customers poured in ..

| Promoted as TA on 17-5-1980 |
| As a TA installed 3 Chl and 8 Chl carrier systems in Vellore SSA |
| Promoted as JTO on 16-4-1996 and worked at Chetpet, Vellore North and Telegraphs, |
| Officiating as SDE from 22.4.2005. |
| As SDE sathuvachari , he has shifted 20 pillars at road side to interior without any T joint, during road widening work. |
We record our appreciation and wish him a long and peaceful retired life.!!

A demonstration was conducted in front of Post office, Vellore by Joint Forum. Comrades with black badge protested against Govt policy to sell 10% BSNL's shares.
